Fun facts about Pastor Walter

Tell us about your family: I’ve been married since 2011 to my beautiful wife, Christa. We have three amazing children, Judah, Brielle, and Malachi.

When and where did you get saved? I got saved the summer before my freshman year of high school. It was at a youth camp in Glennrose, TX.

What is your regular order at a Coffee shop? Unflavored iced coffee with a splash of cream. It’s hard to find it strong enough, so I usually just make it myself.

Who are the people that inspire you? My wife and my mother inspire me. Both are strong women of integrity and conviction that truly live out what they believe.

What is one thing that most people don't know about you? I’m 1.6% Inuit per DNA testing. Maybe that’s why winter is my favorite season.

Do you have any weird quirks? Lots of them, but here’s a couple. I like to chew on plastic. I don’t like people moving my things. And, my
better half says I always leave cabinet doors open.

What is your least favorite thing to do? I really don’t like to take out the trash or mow the lawn.

What is your hidden talent? I’m originally a drummer. Also, I’m double-jointed, so I can do some pretty weird things with my fingers.

What makes you laugh? I can make myself laugh pretty easily. It’s true!

What is your biggest fear? Drowning.
